The sixteenth century Raja Bir Hambir created this architecture in Bishnupur [West Bengal] for the expansion of Vaisnava religion. There are four temples in one square – Ramasam, Jorbangla, Shyamai and Radhesham. One of the attractions of the temple-city to the tourists is Makra stone and burnt brick architecture.
