Brahman

The Shrutis proclaim –

“ekam sad vipra bahudhâ vadanti”
“eko’pi san baudhâ vibhâti”
“eko’ham bahusyâma”
“ekâki na ramate, dwitiyamaichchhat”
The word ‘Brahman’ comes from the Sanskrit root ‘Brimha’.

“brimhati brimhayati cha iti brahma.”
Meaning – “Brahman is the One Who is great and makes others great.”
