PMAY-U: The 47th Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee (CSMC) headed by Union Housing and Urban Affairs Secretary Durga Shanker Mishra approved 630 proposals from participating states for the construction of 1.23 lakh houses with an overall investment of Rs. 4,988 cr under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana– Urban (PMAY-U). With this, cumulative sanctions of houses under PMAY (U) crossed 90 lakh houses against the validated demand of 1.12 crore.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र की 74वीं आम सभा, किन मुद्दों पर है दुनिया का ध्यान-

न्यूयॉर्क में हर साल होने वाली संयुक्त राष्ट्र की आम सभा का आज आखिरी दिन था. 74वीं आम सभा में ख़ूब भाषण हुए. पांच दिनों तक चलने वाले इस भाषण में दुनिया भर के मुल्कों के राष्ट्रपति या प्रधानमंत्री के भाषण से किस तरह की चिन्ताएं उभर रही हैं, उन भाषणों में समाधान का संकल्प कितना है या भाषण देने की औपचारिकता कितनी है, ईमानदारी कितनी है, इस लिहाज़ से भाषणों को देखा जाना चाहिए तभी हम समझ पाएंगे कि संयुक्त राष्ट्र की आम सभा में भाषण का क्या मतलब है. कश्मीर के नज़रिए से देखें तो आम सभा में इस पर ईरान या यमन की तरह चर्चा नहीं हुई और न ज़िक्र हुआ. आम सभा में दिन के नौ बजे से रात के नौ बजे तक भाषण होता है. जैसे 27 सितंबर को ही 37 देशों के प्रमुखों का भाषण होगा. भाषण की शुरूआत सेक्रेट्री जनरल एंतोनियो गुतेरेज़ ने की. गुतेरेज़ ने कहा कि दुनिया में टकराव के कई क्षेत्र बन गए हैं जिन पर तुरंत ध्यान देना ज़रूरी है लेकिन उन्होंने कश्मीर का ज़िक्र नहीं किया. सीरीया, कोरिया, सूडान, अफगानिस्तान और वेनेज़ुएला का ज़रूर नाम लिया. ये वो समस्याएं जो अपना रूप बदल लेती हैं मगर समाधान नहीं होता है. आज ही भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी का भाषण हुआ और पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री इमरान ख़ान का भी हुआ. बांग्लादेश और नेपाल के प्रमुख का भी भाषण होगा. ज़ाहिर है दक्षिण एशिया के मुल्कों के प्रमुखों के भाषण को ग़ौर से देखा जाना चाहिए कि वे इन इलाकों में किन बातों से चिन्तित हैं. उनके पास नया आइडिया क्या है और क्या साहसिक कदम उठाने जा रहे हैं.
