A Glimpse into the Life Of Thakur Bhakti Vinoda (Kedarnath Dutta) by Sātkari Cattopādhyāya (1916)-I knew Thakur Bhakti Vinode intimately—as a friend and a relation. Even under pressure of official work as a Magistrate in charge of a heavy subdivision, he could find time for devotional contemplation and work, and whenever I met him, our talk would turn in a few moments to the subject of Bhakti and Dwaitadwaitavad and the saintly work that they lay before him.
An Introduction to the Vedas and Vedanta-Swami A.C. Bhaktivedanta-You may call the Vedas Hindu, but Hindu is a foreign name. We are not Hindus. Our real identification is varnasrama. Varnasrama denotes the followers of the Vedas, those who accept the human society in eight divisions of varna and asrama.
Autobiography of Kedarnath Dutta (21/06/1896)-He was descended from the well-known Hatkhola Dutt family of Calcutta being eighth descent from Govinda sharan Dutt, the founder of Govindapur (1) one of the three clusters of villages that helped in the growth of the second city of the British empire and fourth in descent from Madan Mohan Dutt, (2) the illustrious and pious member of that family, whose noble, glorious and generous exploits are now household words in Bengal. It was to him that many a noble and wealthy family in Calcutta (3) and its environs, like that of Ram Dulal Sarkar, the father of famous Chhatu & Latu Babus, of Diwan Nanda Kumar Bose and others owed their rise and success. His mother’s side was equally illustrious.

Chaitanya Charitamrita – শ্রী শ্রী চৈতন্য চরিতামৃত: Krishna Das Kaviraj (1557)-Krishna-das Kaviraj, the author of the Chaitanya-charit-amrita, was born in the Vaidya caste, at Jhámatpur, a village of the Kátwá sub-division of the Burdwan district in Bengal, (1496 A.D.) Having lost his parents in early life, he was brought up by his late father's sister. He read Persian at the village school, and then began to study Sanskrit in order to qualify himself for practising Hindu medicine, the profession of his caste. Every part of his great poem bears evidence to his profound mastery of Sanskrit literature, particularly of the Bhágabat Purán. The young orphan, while still unmarried, was converted to Vaishnavism by Nityánanda, and begged his way on foot to Brindában, where he spent the remainder of his long life in religious study, meditation and worship. He was initiated as a Vaishnav monk by Raghunath-das, who along with Swarup Damodar had been body-servants to Chaitanya during that saint's stay at Jagannáth. From his guru, Krishna-das learned the particulars of Chaitanya's life and teaching which he has embodied in the present biography- Jadunath Sarkar
Democratic Government-A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami-15/09/1971-Regarding the government injunction, that is the worst situation of this age. The so called democratic government means some of the sudras, rascals without any knowledge of the highest aim of life. By hook and crook they get some votes and get the responsible chair in government. Naturally they can whimsically enact any law which is against the interest of the people in general. According to the Vedic literature, the government's first duty is to see whether people are following the rules and regulations of varnasrama dharma. That is explained in Bhagavad-gita also. Without coming to the system of Varnasrama dharma there is no question of human society.
Emergence of Goudiya Vaishnavism in Manipur and Its Impact on Nat Sankirtan-Under the influence of Gaudiya Vaishnavism, many Manipuris converted to Vaishnavism. The five disciples of Narottam Thakur – Ganganarayan Chakrabarti, Nidhiram Acharya, Krishnacharan Chakrabarti, Kunjabihari Chakrabarti, and Ram Kamal Chakrabarti visited Manipur and through their sincere efforts, Vaishnavism spread through Manipur.
Hari Bhakti Vilas by Gopal Bhatta (1570)-Gopala Bhatta Goswami (1503–1578) has written Hari bhakti vilas in Bengali Script হরিভক্তি বিলাস Commented by Sanatan Goswami
Introduction to Bhagavad-Gita by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami-1971-The position of isvara is that of supreme consciousness. The jivas, or the living entities, being parts and parcels of the Supreme Lord, are also conscious. Both the living entity and material nature are explained as prakrti, the energy of the Supreme Lord, but one of the two, the jiva, is conscious. The other prakrti is not conscious. That is the difference. Therefore the jiva-prakrti is called superior because the jiva has consciousness which is similar to the Lord's.
Jiva Gosvami on the status of the world by Surendranath Dasgupta (1949)-The Vaiṣṇava theory thus accepts the doctrine of ultimate dissolution in prakṛti (prakṛti-laya). In the time of emancipation the world is not destroyed; for being of the nature of the power of God it cannot be destroyed; it is well known that in the case of jīvan-mukti the body remains.
Jiva Gosvami’s Ontology by Surendranath Dasgupta (1949)-The essential power (svarūpa-śakti) and the energy (māyā-śakti) are mutually antagonistic, but they are both supported in God[8]. The power of God is at once natural (svābhāvika) and unthinkable (acintya). It is further urged that even in the ordinary world the powers of things are unthinkable
Last Will of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder-acharya of ISKCON (04/06/1977)- I have created, developed and organized the International Society for Krishna Consiousness, and as such I hereby will that none of the immovable properties standing in the name of ISKCON in India shall ever be mortgaged, borrowed against, sold, transferred, or in any way encumbered, disposed of, or alienated.
Last Will of Siddhanta Saraswati (31/12/1936)-"We were rendering duty in his sick bed, I was also among them, my duty was from 2 o'clock at night to 4 o'clock in the morning. Just before 24 hours of his departure he called for me and asked me to sing a song: Sri Rupa Manjari pada sei mora sampada, this famous song which is supposed to be the highest realisation of any Gaudiya Vaishnava devotee. Then after 24 hours, on the first of January early morning he left the world." (Sreedhar Maharaj)
Letter by Abhay Charan De to Vallabhbhai Patel Dy PM of India on Gandhian Movement 28/02/1949-Funds are being collected to commemorate Mahatma Gandhiji in a fitting manner and I beg to suggest that the same may be done in the Gandhian way and not otherwise. Gandhiji’s whole life was dedicated to the service of humanity at large with special interest for raising the moral standard. His later activities showed that he was equal to everyone and all the people of the world knew him more as a spiritual leader than a mere politician.
Nabadweep-Yogpeeth-Meditation : Sriman-Mahâprabhu is absorbed in bhâv. He is sitting in the courtyard of His bedroom with His associates who are singing kirtans. The fragrance of the flowers and the humming of the bees brought Him to His external senses. He roared
Prema Vivarta of Jagadananda Pandit-Who was Jagadananda Pandit All the Vaishnavas felt great enthusiasm when they heard that Mahaprabhu had begun His sankirtan movement. Every night, these kirtans took place in the house of Shrivasa Pandit, and on certain occasions, in the house of

Siddhanta Darpana of Baladeva Vidyabhushana (Nanda Mishra Commentary)-"Baladeva was Vaiśya by caste and born in a village near Remuna in the Balesvar subdivision of Orissa; he was a pupil of vairāgī Pītāmvara Dāsa, and was generally known as Govinda Dāga. He was the disciple of a Kanouj Brahmin, Rādhā Dāmodara Dāsa, the author of Vedānta-Syamantaka. Rādhā Dāmodara was a disciple of Nayanānanda, the son of Rādhānanda, and a pupil of his grandfather, Rasikānanda Murāri, who was a disciple of Śyāmānanda, a junior contemporary of Jīva Gosvāmī. Śyāmānanda was a disciple of Hṛdaya Caitanya, who in his turn was a disciple of Gaurīdāsa Paṇḍita, a disciple of Nityānanda. Baladeva himself had two well known disciples, Nanda Miśra and Uddhava Dāsa; he wrote his commentary on Rūpa Gosvāmī’ś Stava-mālā in the Śaka era 1686 (or CE. 1764)".
Speech of Indian President Kovind on occasion of Lokarpan Ceremony of New Iskcon Temple-14/06/2022-You cannot mention the Bhagavad Gita and not think of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder-Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. His commentary on the Gita has, without doubt, guided more seekers around the world to the mysteries of Lord Krishna’s discourse to Arjuna than any other book.
Sree Krishna Chaitanya By Nisikanta Sanyal (1933)-Sankara has been exploited for a quite different purpose by the school of undifferentiated cognitive Monism. They want to make the ultimate Reality devoid of all activity. They also want to make it a Unity that is
unintelligible and inexpressible. To this conclusion they try to arrive by
following mainly the dialectic method of Sankara and secondarily by idealistic interpretation of the Scriptures.
Sri Chaitanya Upanisad of Bhakti Vinod (1887)-This Caitanya Upanisad which is included within the eternal Atharva-Veda, and which is full of all bliss, has thus far not been manifest due to being beyond the vision of persons who have become blinded by the influence of the illusory energy and whose minds are directed towards external matters
Sri Navadvipa-VhabaTaranga by Bhaktivinoda Thakur-1880-Offering obeisances to the feet of all the devotees, I will now briefly describe Sri Navadvipa-dhama. Even the demigods headed by Lord Brahma do not know the unlimited glories of Navadvipa mandala, so who can possibly describe that dhama fully? Since the thousand-mouthed Sesa cannot describe it completely, how can I, an insignificant living entity, do so? Even Lord Siva can find no end to the unlimited glories of Navadvipa-dhama. Nevertheless, the desire of Sri Caitanya is powerful, and according to His wish the devotees have given me an order. Therefore, by the mercy of the devotees, I hereby describe the glories of Nadia
Swami Maharaja has changed the world within ten years – Bhakti Vaibhava Puri (08/08/1998)-It is the mercy of Nityananda through Swami Maharaja. In only 10 years he has changed the world. Wherever he goes he says Hare Krishna. Hare Krishna comes. Who has done this? We should not forget him. If we forget him we are ungrateful and our devotion cannot survive.
The Last days of Caitanya Mahaprabhu as per Krishnadas Kaviraja (Gouranga of Nadiya-1533)-Advocatetanmoy has published multiple documents on Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, such as, "The Life of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu: A Short Biography". The article details the life and teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who is considered one of the most important figures in Sanatan Dharma. It explains how he spread the message of Bhakti Yoga, or devotion to God, throughout India and established the modern-day Hare Krishna movement. The article also touches on the legacy of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and how his teachings continue to influence people around the world today. Again another book "The Life of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu: A Comprehensive Study". The book is a comprehensive overview of the life and teachings of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, and covers his early life and travels, his philosophy and spiritual practices, and his legacy and influence on modern-day Hinduism. Uddharan Dutta Thakur (1904)-Nityananda Prabhu died at the age of 70/73 in 1542 or 1545, his son was Virachandra Prabhu. Virchandra wished to take Dikshya from Advaita Acharya (1474-1558) after the demise of his father, but due to his mother's persuasion, he took Diksha from his mother Janhaba Devi, Nityananda's second wife. Chaitanya Charitamrita (completed in জ্যৈষ্ঠী কৃষ্ণা পঞ্চমী, 1615 খ্রিস্টাব্দ, রবিবার in Vrindavana) is completely silent about Nityananda Prabhu. Nityananda was 12 years older than Gouranga Mahaprabhu, who died on 14/06/1534.
Vivekananda was actually a rascal and he had no knowledge – AC Bhaktivedanta (11/12/1971)-Just like Vivekananda and many others. Now present . . . presently there is one Kalapatri(Karpatri). Vivekananda was actually rascal. He, he had no knowledge. But the Kalapatri is actually very learned man. He has studied all the Vedas, great Sanskrit scholar, but still, because he did not worship the lotus feet of the Lord, he is also proving rascal. He is now in politics. He has got a political party, Rāma-rājya Party, and nobody cares for him.
