Didache or The Lord’s teaching to the heathen by the Twelve Apostles-3rd Century CE

Ἡ μὲν οὖν τῆς ζωῆς ἐστιν αὕτη· πρῶτον ἀγαπησεις τὸν θεὸν τὸν ποιήσαντά σε, δεύτερον τὸν πλησίον σου ὡς σεαυτόν· πάντα δὲ ὅσα ἐὰν θελήσῃς μὴ γίνεσθαί σοι, καὶ σὺ ἄλλῳ μὴ ποίει.-The way of life is this : first, you must love God who made you. Second, you must love your neighbour as yourself. Whatsoever you would not want someone to do to you, do not do that to another.

Athanasius: Expotio Fidei

Arthur Schopenhauer on the Christian System

I may mention here another fundamental error of Christianity, an error which cannot be explained away, and the mischievous consequences of which are obvious every day: I mean the unnatural distinction Christianity makes between man and the animal world to which he really belongs. It sets up man as all-important, and looks upon animals as merely things. Brahmanism and Buddhism, on the other hand, true to the facts, recognize in a positive way that man is related generally to the whole of nature, and specially and principally to animal nature; and in their systems man is always represented by the theory of metempsychosis and otherwise, as closely connected with the animal world.

Early Christian Library Before 400 CE

And in this struggle to legitimize Jesus we lost and completely lost Historical Bethelhamian village long-haired Jew Jesus. Then our newly converted Paul never went to see Mother Mary or Josef of Arimathea generate doubt about the claim of the early Christian church.

Jesus was not a Historical Person and he declared Vedic ‘Father’: Rabindranath

The Sacrament: John Calvin: 1537

The Scholastic dogma (to glance at it in passing), by which the difference between the sacraments of the old and the new dispensation is made so great, that the former did nothing but shadow forth the grace of God, while the latter actually confer that it, must be altogether exploded. Since the apostle speaks in no higher terms of the one than of the other, when he says that the fathers ate of the same spiritual food, and explains that that food was Christ ( Cor. x. ), who will presume to regard as an empty sign that which gave a manifestation to the Jews of true communion with Christ?
