Organisms may have different susceptibilities to various disinfectants. As a surface disinfectant, 70% isopropyl alcohol is generally effective. However, 70% alcohol is not the disinfectant of choice for decontaminating spills. It should be noted that 100% alcohol is not as effective a disinfectant as 70% alcohol.
Klebsiella pneumoniae has emerged over the last few years as a highly resistant pathogen with up to 50% resistance to carbapenems and rapidly increasing resistance to polymyxins. In addition, methicillin resistance in Staphylococcus aureus is seen in up to 30% of S. aureus isolates nationally. It is well documented that antibiotic abuse is one of the major drivers of antibiotic resistance and thus optimising usage of antibiotics is the need of the hour.
The main objective of these guidelines is to prevent the health care workers and the environment from the transmission of infections.
Influenza A and B viruses are important human respiratory pathogens which are transmitted mainly by droplets and aerosols originating from the respiratory secretions of infected people, but occasionally also through contact with virus contaminated fomites.

Use of convalescent plasma has been studied in outbreaks of other respiratory infections, including the 2009-2010 H1N1 influenza virus pandemic, 2003 SARS-CoV-1 epidemic, and the 2012 MERS-CoV epidemic. Although promising, convalescent plasma has not been shown to be effective in every disease studied.
That a muscle on irritation of its nerve contracts had already long been familiar to physiology when the 19th century found a nerve which when irritated prevented its muscle from contracting. This […]
The virus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is stable for several hours to days in aerosols and on surfaces, according to a new study from National Institutes of Health, CDC, UCLA and Princeton University scientists in The New England Journal of Medicine. The scientists found that severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) was detectable in aerosols for up to three hours, up to four hours on copper, up to 24 hours on cardboard and up to two to three days on plastic and stainless steel. The was performed at about room temperature, 21-23 degrees Celsius.
In a test case, Hydroxychloroquine plus the antibiotic Azithromycin are given to COVID-19 patients. Azithromycin was added for its effectiveness against complications from bacterial lung disease.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION-The invention relates to new use of a known abundantly available cow urine distillate as an enhancer of antibiotic action on the target. The molecule of invention helps in the absorption of antibiotics across the cell membrane in animal cells, gram positive and gram negative bacteria. Similar activities can also be obtained by using the distillate of the urine of cow at 40-50° C. and from the concentrate, which is lyophilized and dissolved for further use. Further the urine distillate from buffalo, camel, deer provides similar activity of bioavailability.
Guggul gum resin is also used by mouth for high cholesterol, “hardening of the arteries” (atherosclerosis), and weight loss in people who are obese or overweight.
Nitric oxide has been found to be produced by virtually every cell type in the body and plays an important role in controlling the normal function of cells as well as in regulating larger scale processes such as the nervous and immune systems.
Viruses are simple entities living in a host cell, lacking an energy-generating system and having very limited biosynthetic capabilities
