    We will step up efforts to halt and reverse biodiversity loss, including through Nature-based Solutions and Ecosystem-based Approaches, support climate mitigation and adaptation, enhance environmental conservation and protection, sustainable use and restoration, responding to natural disasters, reduce ecosystem degradation, enhance ecosystem services and to address issues affecting the marine and coastal environment.

    G-20 Engagement Groups

    Engagement Groups, which are independent from governments and comprised of various stakeholders of the international community, host meetings relevant to the G20 discussions. They represent the Business community (B20), Civil society (C20), Labor unions (L20), Scientists (S20), Think tanks (T20), Urban cities (U20), Women (W20) and Youth (Y20) from the G20 members and make contributions such as drafting recommendations on their areas of interest.
