suit filed by an unregistered firm against a third party for enforcement of any right arising from a contract with such a third party would be barred if the plaintiff-partnership firm on the date of the suit is not registered under the provisions of the Partnership Act
Whereas it is expedient to define and amend the law relating to partnership; It is hereby enacted as follows
Section 4 of the Indian Partnership Act, 1932 provides under Chapter II and defines partnership as the relation between persons who have agreed to share the profits of a business carried on by all or any one of them.
