In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 28(1) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (Act 22 of 2005), read with Rule 2(1) of the Calcutta High Court (Right to Information) Rules, 2006, and pursuant to the order dated 08.06.2012 passed by the Hon’ble the Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court (Competent Authority), the following posts are hereby designated as the First Appellate Authority, Public Information Officer, and Assistant Public Information Officer, as specified against each, for the Kolkata jurisdiction of Kolkata District, for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005:
