How to get Legal Heir Certificate?
The Collector of Kolkata (Stamp & Revenue) is empowered to issue Legal Heir Certificates within the jurisdiction of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) only in cases directed by the Government or Government agencies.
For availing a Legal Heir Certificate, the applicant must submit the duly filled application form offline, along with all required documents in two (2) sets, at the General Section for necessary enquiry and verification.
