Statement from Buckingham Palace regarding Prince Andrew, the Duke of York-13/01/2022

Buckingham Palace, in a brief statement on Thursday, said: “with the queen’s approval and agreement, the Duke of York’s military affiliations and royal patronages have been returned to the queen. The Duke of York will continue not to undertake any public duties and is defending this case as a private citizen.”

Queen approved Churches Conservation Trust appointments-14/01/2022

The Queen has approved the appointments of Mrs Elizabeth Peace CBE as Chair of the Churches Conservation Trust; Sir Simon Jenkins’ re-appointment as a Member of the Trust and; Dr Oliver Cox and Mr Inayat Omarji MBE as Members of the Trust, each for a three year term.
