Institute of Aerospace Medicine (IAM) is a premier institute of the Indian Air Force and is the hub centre of aerospace medicine activities in the country.
IAM is the only institute of its kind in South Asia for conducting Doctor of Medicine (MD) course in Aerospace Medicine[ Aeromedical Solution Provider]. In addition, IAM also conducts a number of courses in aerospace medicine for aircrew, medical officers and paramedics.
Aerospace Medicine is a specialized field of medicine, concerned with the maintenance of health and performance of aircrew in aviation and space environment.
