Status: 2023 – Calcutta University BA LLB (UGC Granted)

Calcutta University Syllabus: Calcutta University offers a comprehensive BA LLB program covering a wide range of subjects like English, Political Science, Sociology, Contract Law, and Family Law over 10 semesters. Again the LL.M course is a full-time 2-year program with classes during regular hours, including topics like Jurisprudence, Indian Constitutional Law, Legal Education, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property Law, Banking Law, and Insurance Law. However, the BA LLB program has an intake capacity of 120 seats for UG students, while the LL.M program accepts 42 students. The university also offers Ph.D. research programs following UGC norms. Various courses cater to different levels of study and eligibility.
