UK PM Keir Starmer Holds Talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman

Discussions Focus on Ceasefire, Middle East Peace, and Humanitarian Efforts

London, March 19, 2025 โ€“ UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer engaged in a significant diplomatic conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman this evening, reinforcing bilateral cooperation and discussing pressing global issues.

During the call, the Prime Minister commended the Crown Prince for his instrumental role in facilitating the US-led ceasefire talks in Jeddah last week. Both leaders emphasized the urgent need for a sustainable and just peace in the region, expressing hope for positive developments as negotiations resume on Sunday.

Addressing the escalating crisis in Gaza, Prime Minister Starmer voiced profound concern over the renewed hostilities and urged Israeli restraint. He underscored the imperative need for all parties to return to the negotiating table to reinstate the ceasefire, secure the release of hostages, and facilitate unhindered humanitarian aid into Gaza.
