How to worship Durga in Saradiya Durga Puja

Durga, as worshipped in Bengal in the season of SARAT KAL, is popularly known Akal Bodhan, which is an untimely invocation. So, what is a timely invocation of the Deity – Basanta Kal – Basanti Puja and it is observed in all over India as Navaratra[शारदीय नवरात्र].

Kalika Puran is an Upapuran, i.e it is not a principal Puran.  Authority of Puran Literatures has been questioned by the Scholars of Sanskrit. Vedas are the valid source of knowledge to know Sanatan Dharma. Navaratra was nine days session[Satra] mentioned in Brahman Literatures. Puja was also not mentioned in Vedas. Puja how originated nobody can comment on it authoritatively. some may say that the origin of Puja was with Jaina Dharma, or Atharva Veda or some Agam Tantra. However, the practice has been here since time immemorial.

Puja is fine mixture of Vedic and Tantric Mantras along with Yoga[pranayama], Meditation, Homa and Agama Tantra… these were called Chatur Byuha[चतूर ब्यूह ].
