OSHO-Rajneesh

Acharya Rajneesh (1931-1990), known as Osho, was essentially a master of speech. He held no consistent philosophy and showed little regard for any. Complex and unpredictable, he influenced many people, though most drifted away with time. He drew heavily from various thinkers and traditions but rarely acknowledged these sources. Born into a Jain family and university-educated, he had an exceptional command of language and could impress audiences temporarily, yet he seldom remained committed to his own words and often shifted his positions. His life’s greatest setback came when his lady secretary and a close companion betrayed him and his commune. Osho was later arrested in the United States and deported to India, where he died soon after, claiming he had been poisoned by the American government under Ronald Reagan. After his death, his wealth quickly disappeared.
