James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting (1.1) แผฐฮฌฮบฯฮฒฮฟฯ ฮธฮตฮฟแฟฆ ฮบฮฑแฝถ ฮบฯ ฯฮฏฮฟฯ แผฐฮทฯฮฟแฟฆ ฯฯฮนฯฯฮฟแฟฆ ฮดฮฟแฟฆฮปฮฟฯ ฯฮฑแฟฯ ฮดฯฮดฮตฮบฮฑ ฯฯ ฮปฮฑแฟฯ ฯฮฑแฟฯ แผฮฝ ฯแฟ ฮดฮนฮฑฯฯฮฟฯแพท ฯฮฑฮฏฯฮตฮนฮฝ.
We do not know who is this Jecob. Whether he has any connection with the so-called letter of Judas? Judas told us that he is the brother of Jecob. No date and place has been mentioned in this letter. Jecob addressing this letter to the ancient twelve Hebrew Tribes of diaspora. It is from the text that the letter had been written when the แผฮบฮบฮปฮทฯฮฏฮฑฯ (Church) had been established and debating whether to keep its Jewish root or Hebrew appeal or to move out of the Hebrew set-ups. The author probably kicked out of the Roman types of Church and thus appealed to the Jewish diaspora to build his Community. The letter was written much later than 380 CE. Jecob had been facing problems which were not available in the letter of Judas. Judas was very much with the Jewish village or urban people and trying to build up a church (Jewish or Romish), but for Jecob church and ฯฯฮตฯฮฒฯ ฯฮญฯฮฟฯ ฯ were already there, who were deviated from the root and adopted something evil in the name of faith.
