Sura Al-Isra-110
قُلِ ادْعُواْ اللّهَ أَوِ ادْعُواْ الرَّحْمَنَ أَيًّا مَّا تَدْعُواْ فَلَهُ الأَسْمَاء الْحُسْنَى وَلاَ تَجْهَرْ بِصَلاَتِكَ وَلاَ تُخَافِتْ بِهَا وَابْتَغِ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ سَبِيلاً
Al-Isra-110: Kulid’ulleaha avid’ur raahmean(raahmeana), ayyan mea tad’oo fa lahul asmeaul husnea, va lea tachar bi saaleatika va lea tuheafit bihea vabtagı bayna zealika sabeelea(sabeelan).
Say: “Call upon Him as Allah (God) or call upon Him as ar-Rahman (the All-Merciful). By whichever Name you call upon Him, to Him belong the All-Beautiful Names. And offer your Prayer neither in too loud a voice nor in a voice too low, but follow a middle course.
Another translation
Say, “Call upon Allah or call upon the Most Merciful [ar-Raḥmān]. Whichever [name] you call – to Him belong the best names.” And do not recite [too] loudly in your prayer or [too] quietly but seek between that an [intermediate] way.
Another translation
“Neither speak thy prayer aloud, nor speak it in a low tone, but seek a middle course in between.”
Explanation:- Say, `Call upon Him by the name of ‘Allâh‘ or call Him by the name of ‘Al-Rahmân’. In short call upon Him by whichsoever name you like, all beautiful names belong to Him. And utter not your prayer in a loud voice(creating noise) nor utter it in too low tones (nobody able to listen it) but seek a middle course.´
Development – Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs has imposed restrictions on the use of loudspeakers in mosques, allowing the use of loudspeakers only for calls for prayers (Azan) and Iqamat. A circular(May 23, 2021) has been issued by Abdul Latif Al Sheikh, Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, to all mosques across the Kingdom, to limit the use of loudspeakers only for Azaan and Iqama and lower the volume of loudspeakers to one-third level.
