List of Multilateral Treaties deposited with UNO

This collection has been established pursuant to the General Assembly resolution A/52/363, section VI and subsequently adopted resolutions on multilingualism, inter alia, 65/311, 67/292 and Secretary-General’s reports to the General Assembly 65/282 and 67/311. It consists of the titles of multilateral treaties deposited with the Secretary-General in the six official languages of the United Nations – Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. The listing of titles is updated annually, as required. There are currently over 560 multilateral conventions deposited with the Secretary-General, and their number keeps growing steadily as new conventions open for signature almost every year.

Criminal Procedure Rules 2020-UK

The Criminal Procedure Rule Committee has made a new consolidation of the Criminal Procedure Rules. The 2020 Rules replace the Criminal Procedure Rules 2015 and the amendments made to those rules since then. The new rules come into force on Monday 5 October 2020.

Law of Remands into Custody in UK

In the magistrates’ court, a defendant can only remand a person in custody for a maximum of eight days, except where it has previously remanded him in custody and it has a set a date for the next stage of those proceedings. In those circumstances, having heard representations from the defendant’s representatives, he can be remanded in custody for a period ending in that date or for a period of 28 days, whichever is the less – s. 128A of the Magistrates Courts Act 1980.

Law of Criminal Procedure- SAUDI ARABIA

Courts shall apply Shari’ah principles, as derived from the Qur’an and Sunnah (the traditions of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him) to the cases that are brought before them. They shall also apply laws promulgated by the state that do not contradict the provisions of the Qur’an and Sunnah, and shall comply with the procedure set forth in this Law.
The provisions of this Law shall apply to criminal cases that have not been decided and to proceedings that have not been completed prior to the implementation thereof.

The differences on the boundary question should not be allowed to affect the overall development of bilateral relations. The two sides will resolve the boundary question through peaceful and friendly consultations. Neither side shall use or threaten to use force against the other by any means. The final solution of the boundary question will significantly promote good neighbourly and friendly relations between India and China.
