Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan-The people of Uzbekistan,
solemnly declaring their adherence to human rights and principles of state sovereignty,
being aware of their ultimate responsibility to the present and the future generations,
relying on historical experience in the development of the Uzbek statehood,
affirming their commitment to the ideals of democracy and social justice,
recognizing priority of the generally accepted norms of the international law,
aspiring to a worthy life for the citizens of the Republic,
setting forth the task of creating a humane and democratic law-governed state,
aiming to ensure civil peace and national accord,
adopt in the person of their plenipotentiary representatives the present Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Security Council( UNO) branded Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan as a Terrorist Organisation – (07/04/2011)-The Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU) is a group of militants from Uzbekistan, other Central Asian states and Europe, and comprises approximately 500 members. Al-Qaida (QDe.004) leaders encouraged the formation of IMU and Usama bin Laden (deceased) supplied most of the funding to set up the organization. IMU, under the leadership of Tohir Abdulkhalilovich Yuldashev (deceased), has embraced Usama bin Laden's ideology. IMU has close ties with Al-Qaida and the Taliban; senior IMU leaders have held positions in the Al-Qaida hierarchy
