FOR THE YEAR 2024
In continuation of this Court’s Notification Nos. 7951–RG and 7952–RG, both dated 30.08.2024, read with Notification Nos. 9272–RG and 9273–RG, both dated 20.11.2024, regarding the OMR-based Preliminary Test (Phase-I) held on 22nd December, 2024 for recruitment to the cadre of District Judge (Entry Level) in the West Bengal Judicial Service (WBJS) through Direct Recruitment from the Members of the Bar (DRB) and Limited Competitive Examination (LCE) from eligible Judicial Officers for the year 2024—
And, upon due consideration of objections received from candidates concerning the provisional answer keys (Question Nos. 1, 4, 6, 18, 24, and 25) published vide Notification No. 11528–RG dated 24.12.2024, and after evaluation of the OMR sheets of all candidates of both wings—
The Final Answer Key of the said OMR-based Preliminary Test (Phase-I), along with four (4) lists, is hereby published for the general information of all concerned.
LIST – I
Final Answer Key of the OMR-based Preliminary Test (Phase-I)
held on 22nd December, 2024, for recruitment to the cadre/post of District Judge (Entry Level).
This list also includes necessary directions/modifications/corrections made by the Hon’ble Court for the preparation of the final result.

LIST – III
List of 14 (fourteen) candidates from the Members of the Bar who have qualified to appear in the Written Competitive Test (Phase-II) by securing the minimum qualifying marks (50%) in the Preliminary Test.

LIST – IV
List of 5 (five) Judicial Officers of the West Bengal Judicial Service who have qualified to appear in the Written Competitive Test (Phase-II) through the Limited Competitive Examination (LCE) by securing the minimum qualifying marks (50%) in the Preliminary Test.
(Names, roll numbers, and marks as detailed in the annexed list.)
Any officer of the West Bengal Judicial Service who appeared in the OMR-based Preliminary Test (Phase-I) in connection with the Limited Competitive Examination, 2024, and wishes to obtain his/her individual result may do so by submitting a written requisition to that effect.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES
- Admit Cards for all eligible candidates (Lists III and IV) are being dispatched via Speed Post and registered email, where available.
- Candidates who do not receive their Admit Card by March 7, 2025 (Friday) may collect a duplicate card in person from the Recruitment Cell, High Court, Calcutta (B–Block, 6th Floor, New Secretariat Building, Kolkata–700001) on March 10, 2025 (Monday) between 11:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
- Candidates must produce a recent passport-size coloured photograph (signed on the front) along with a valid original photo ID proof and a photocopy thereof.
- Candidates must report to the examination venue by 9:30 AM positively on each examination day.
