English: A, An, and The. The articles define the status of a noun (Τα άρθρα ορίζουν την κατάσταση ενός ουσιαστικού)
Είναι οι μικρές λέξεις που μπαίνουν μπροστά από τα ουσιαστικά (noun), τα επίθετα, τις κλιτές μετοχές και ορισμένες αντωνυμίες. Μας δηλώνουν αν η λέξη που ακολουθεί είναι αρσενικό (masculine), θηλυκό ή ουδέτερο (γένος), αν πρόκειται για ένα ή πολλά (αριθμό), σε ποια πτώση βρίσκεται, και κατά πόσον κάτι είναι ορισμένο ή αόριστο. They tell us whether the following word is masculine, feminine or neuter ( gender), whether it is one or many (number) , what case it is in, and whether something is definite or indefinite ]

Μια φορά κι έναν καιρό, υπήρχε ένα λιοντάρι στη ζούγκλα. ήταν ο βασιλιάς της ζούγκλας. ένα μικρό ελάφι του ήρθε με μια προσευχή, να μην σκοτώσει το ζώο αδιακρίτως. Ο άντρας και η γυναίκα έγιναν φίλοι και παντρεύτηκαν ο ένας τον άλλον. τώρα ο θεός ήταν ευτυχισμένος. τους ευλόγησε με πολλά παιδιά. (In the beginning, the god created the earth and the sky. God was not happy with his creation, so he made a beautiful man out of his essence, and then He made a woman. The man and the woman became friends and married each other. now the god was happy. he blessed them with many children)
