राष्ट्रभृतां (राष्ट्रम्-Rastrabhritam)Nationalism

Michael Freeden’s (1998, pp. 751–2), the five elements of nationalism are:

1. ‘the prioritisation of a particular group – the nation – as a key constituting and identifying framework for human beings and their practices’
2. ‘a positive valorisation is assigned to one’s own nation, granting it specific claims over the conduct of its members’
3. ‘the desire to give politico-institutional expression to the first two core concepts’
4. ‘space and time are considered to be crucial determinants of social identity’
5. ‘a sense of belonging and membership in which sentiment and emotion play an important role’.

राष्ट्रभृतां ब्राह्मणम्

राष्ट्रकामाय होतव्या राष्ट्रं वै राष्ट्रभृतो राष्ट्रेणैवास्मै राष्ट्रम् अव रुन्द्धे राष्ट्रम् एव भवति ।
आत्मने होतव्या राष्ट्रं वै राष्ट्रभृतो राष्ट्रम् प्रजा राष्ट्रम् पशवो राष्ट्रं यच् छ्रेष्ठो भवति राष्ट्रेणैव राष्ट्रम् अव रुन्द्धे वसिष्ठः समानानाम् भवति ग्रामकामाय होतव्या राष्ट्रं वै राष्ट्रभृतो राष्ट्रम् सजाता राष्ट्रेणैवास्मै राष्ट्रम् सजातान् अव रुन्द्धे ग्रामी एव भवति ।-1

अधिदेवने जुहोत्य् अधिदेवन एवास्मै सजातान् अव रुन्द्धे त एनम् अवरुद्धा उप तिष्ठन्ते
रथमुख ओजस्कामस्य होतव्या ओजो वै राष्ट्रभृत ओजो रथ ओजसैवास्मा ओजो ऽव रुन्द्ध ओजस्व्य् एव भवति
यो राष्ट्राद् अपभूतः स्यात् तस्मै होतव्या यावन्तो ऽस्य रथाः स्युस् तान् ब्रूयाद् युङ्ग्ध्वम् इति राष्ट्रम् एवास्मै युनक्ति ।-2
