Meditation :
Sriman-Mahâprabhu is absorbed in bhâv. He is sitting in the courtyard of His bedroom with His associates who are singing kirtans. The fragrance of the flowers and the humming of the bees brought Him to His external senses. He roared in ecstasy. This made the devotees to come out of their absorption and they ended the song.
Sriman-Mahâprabhu went to the innermost whorl of the Yogpeeth and stood there in half-external state. The devotees too took their position in the Yogpeeth. Then you, the sâdhak, stand to the left of your Spiritual Master and take darshan of Sriman-Mahâprabhu and His associates in the Yogpeeth.
The Yogpeeth gem-temple is situated in Sriman-Mahâprabhu’s house. Its peaks are decorated with beautiful embellished gem-pitchers. The walls are studded with sapphires and the roof is gold-plated with pearl designs.
The Yogpeeth gem-temple has four doors. The doors are studded with eight kinds of gems. There is a canopy made of rubies. It is laced with moonstones. It looks most extraordinary. Although the Yogpeeth is infinitely brilliant, it is also immensely cooling.
Position of the Gour-associates
In the Yogpeeth, there is a gem-studded throne with sides made of rubies, legs of sapphire and its backside is made of vaidurya. The throne is very comfortable with soft cushions and pure white pillows. Lord Goursundar is seated on it in the bhâv of the Divine Couple. Sri Nityânanda Prabhu is seated to His right in the bhâv of Sri Ananga-manjari. Advaita Prabhu is sitting in front of Him in the bhâv of Vishâkhâ sakhi and Sri Gadâdhar is to His left, offering Him tâmbul in the mood of Sri Râdhâ. In front of him, Shrivâs Pandit is standing in the mood of a manjari. Swarup Dâmodar and the eight mahants are standing on the eight principle petals of the Yogpeeth in the mood of the eight sakhis.
Their position is as follows –
North – Swarup-Dâmodar, North-East – Râmânanda Roy, East – Govindânanda Thâkur,
South-East – BasuRâmânanda, South – Shibânanda Sen, South-West – Govinda Ghosh, West – Bakreshwar Pandit,
North-West – Bâsudeb Ghosh.
On the sub-petals we see the following devotees in the mood of sakhis –
North – Sri Jâhnabâ Thâkurâni, North-East – Govinda Kavirâj, East – Karnapur Kavirâj, South-East – Nrisimha
Kavirâj, South – Bhagavân Kavirâj, South-West – Ballavikanta Kavirâj, West – Gopiraman Kavirâj, North-West – Gokul Kavirâj.
On the stamen we see –
In the North – Sri Rupa Goswâmi, North-East – Lokanâth Goswâmi, East – Raghunâth Bhatta Goswâmi, SouthEast – Raghunâth dâs Goswâmi, South – Gopâl Bhatta Goswâmi, South-West – Jiva Goswâmi, West – Sanâtan
Goswâmi, North-West – Krishnadâs Kavirâj Goswâmi.
Four devotees are placed in the four gateways as follows –
North – Kâshishwar Pandit, East – Mukunda Thâkur, South – Shibânanda Chakraborty, West – Shrirâm Pandit.
