Fake books are created in imitation of the Bhagavad Gita, told by Lord Krishna.
The Bhagavad Gita (Shastra) is indeed a significant part of the epic Mahabharata, attributed to Krishna Dvaipayana Vyasa, the son of Parashara Rishi and the grandson of Vasistha. It is set amidst the backdrop of a political and territorial conflict, and it plays a pivotal role in preparing the despondent warrior Prince Arjuna of the lunar dynasty for the impending battle. The philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita revolves around empowering Arjuna to face adversity and fulfill his princely duties, whether in attaining heaven or establishing dominion. The spiritual teachings in the Gita are derived from the real experiences of life, emphasizing the importance of fulfilling one’s worldly responsibilities while embracing spiritual principles.
The Ashtavakra Gita, Avadhuta Gita, Kapila Gita, Sriram Gita, Sruti Gita, Uddhava Gita, Gopi Gita, and Vibhishana Gita, etc, are not contributing anything to the life or eligible to produce any ‘Purva Paksha’, which needs to be answered through a Gita (Shastra) teaching, thus the voidness of the so-called ‘Gitas’ is visible. At the same time, we are aware of the fake ‘Vedanta’ described in the following books.
List of Fake Gitas
