UN List of Least Developed Countries (11/02/2021)
As of February 11, 2021, a list of Least Developed Countries (LDCs) includes nations like Afghanistan, Madagascar, and South Sudan, among others, with their years of inclusion ranging from 1971 to 2012. Significant decisions affecting LDC status include the General Assembly resolutions A/RES/70/253 and A/RES/75/259, which set Angola's graduation for February 12, 2024, following a three-year extension. Bhutan and São Tomé and Príncipe are scheduled for graduation on December 13, 2023, and December 13, 2024, respectively, based on resolutions A/RES/73/133. The list will be updated as new decisions are made.

- General Assembly resolution A/RES/70/253 adopted on 12 February 2016, decided that Angola will graduate five years after the adoption of the resolution, and General Assembly resolution A/RES/75/259 adopted on 11 February 2021, decided that Angola will be granted a three year extension to the preparatory period and will graduate on 12 February 2024.
