The meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPN (Maoist) has been postponed till July 8. The meeting was scheduled for Monday has been postponed till 11 am on July 8, said Surya Thapa, Press Adviser to the Prime Minister and Deputy Chief of the CPN (Maoist) Publicity Department.
On the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, President Bidyadevi Bhandari ended the session of the Federal Parliament on Thursday afternoon.
Meanwhile, discussions between CPN (Maoist) Chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and another Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Baluwatar have been failed. The meeting between them was started at 9:30 am on Monday and ended without any definite conclusion. It is reported that the meeting has been postponed without any consensus before the meeting of the standing committee.
Earlier Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has discussed the current problems in the ruling Communist Party of Nepal with the ministers. Disputes have been brewing within the ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN-UML) after Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and other leaders demanded Oli`s step down from the leadership of both the government and the party. As the party has entered a phase of division, the prime minister requested all the ministers for support. Raising baseless accusations against India and leaders of his own party by the PM was not appropriate was the opinion of party senior leader Prachanda.
Within the party, Prachanda and Oli are co-chairs of Nepal’s communist party. Oli is, however, seen to lean a little too towards China and has managed to hold on to the PM’s post with the help of Beijing.
In these circumstances the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and National Investigation Department have mobilized ‘intelligence’ groups by formulating internal security strategies.

Our President is a respected institution. Let no one take this dignified institution into dispute for their own self-interest. Let no one spread unbridled false propaganda to bring an impeachment motion against the President(Trans).

The internal struggle within the party should not be centered on the interests of any person or persons. Therefore, let us participate in the transformational debate by focusing on party unity, prosperity, socialism, the country, the people and the working class, not on the support or opposition of one person or another(Trns).
